Blue & Green Cave tour from Hvar


During the season we are doing an everyday boat excursion from town Hvar to the beautiful Blue cave and Green cave on the island  Vis. We are stopping on the most beautiful Vis beach Stiniva and on our way back we have a drink or lunch in Palmižana, famous beach on Pakleni islands in front of Hvar. There is also one extra place depending on a group wishes.

10:30 Start from Hvar

We are accommodating into a RIB speed boat and heading towards island Vis.

11:00 - 11:30 Swim in Green Cave

Our 1st stop is the Green cave situated on the island of Ravnik, near Vis. The emerald green color comes from the sun reflecting on the stones covered with seaweed at the bottom of the cave.

You can choose to enter the cave by swimming or with a small motor boat operated by Port Authority.

11:40 - 12:40 Snorkel in Stiniva

Stiniva is the most beautiful beach in Europe for 2016. We will anchor the boat near the entrance and you can enter Stiniva by swimming (20 m) or with a small rubber boat.

Stiniva is great for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing, or if you prefer you can have a drink and relax at the beach bar.

13:00 - 14:00 Experience Blue Cave

Magnificent Blue cave is a national natural wonder. Small motor boat of Port Authority will drive you to the entrance of the Blue cave which is quite small so you’ll have to bow your head while entering.

In the cave you will spend about 15 minutes and you are allowed to take pictures and videos to capture this natural phenomenon, blue reflecting sea and silver shine on the other objects.

14:20 - 15:00 Optional place

Depending on group preferences and weather conditions we are visiting one more optional place on island Vis: Green Lagoon on island Budikovac, Seal Monk's Cave, sandy beach Stončica, the smallest beach on Vis, town Vis, town Komiža or 2nd world war military submarine garage.

15:30 - 18:00 Relax in Palmižana

In Palmižana sandy beach on Pakleni islands you will have time for lunch in one of three great restaurants (Bacchuss, Totos & Zori), to drink some cocktails in popular Laganini beach bar or just to swim and sunbath.

You can also stay in the boat and listen to music or do a nice walk to the botanic garden.

18:30 Arrival in Hvar

Happy and tired we are slowly driving back to Hvar while sunset is starting to make beautiful ending of the day.

We will start at our meeting point at 10:30 in bay Križna Luka or we can pick you up in front of your hotel, in Hvar harbor or anywhere near the sea level.

Take a seat in our professional speed boat specially designed for choppy sea and enjoy the safe ride preformed by our skipper.

While we are heading out to our first stop Green Cave you will enjoy fresh air and smell of the sea. After about 35 minutes of pleasant ride we will come to the natural phenomenon of the Green cave. You can enter inside the cave by swimming or 
with a small motor boat operated by Port Authority.

After visiting and swimming in the Green Cave our next stop is Stiniva bay, the most beautiful European beach in 2016. Our skipper will anchor the boat in front of the entrance and you’ll have about an hour of free time for swimming, diving and sunbathing. You can enter Stiniva by swimming ( 20 m ) or with a small rubber boat. At the beach there is a bar where you can have drink and relax.

Our next stop is the magnificent Blue Cave, national natural wonder. When we arrive at the Blue cave skipper will anchor the speed boat on the dock, help you to step out and show you where to buy tickets. After buying tickets you can visit bar and wait while drinking refreshments your turn to enter the cave. Small motor boat 12 passengers capacity will drive you to the entrance of the Blue cave which is 2 min away from the dock. Entrance is quite small so you’ll have to bow your head while entering. When inside skipper from the blue cave will stop the motor and use bare hands and long stick to push the boat around the cave. In the cave you will spend about 15 minutes and you are allowed to take pictures and videos to capture this natural phenomenon, blue reflecting sea and silver shine on the other objects.  After visiting the cave you will return to the port where our skipper is waiting for you.
 
After Blue cave we are going to one of the optional places.
OPTIONAL PLACES  - Depending on group preferences and weather conditions we are visiting one more optional place on island Vis: Green lagoon on island Budikovac,  Seal Monk's Cave, sandy beach Stončica, the smallest beach on Vis, town Vis or town Komiža or 2nd world war military submarine garage.
 
After visiting this fantastic places on island Vis we are heading back to Pakleni islands to visit Palmižana sandy beach. In Palmižana there are 3 small sandy beaches, coctail bar Laganini, and 3 restaurants (Bacchuss, Totos & Zori). Our skipper will anchor the speed boat on the dock and you will have free time for lunch and swimming. You can stay in the boat and listen to music, do nice walk to the Aci Marina on the north side, visit botanic garden...

Around 6 pm our guests are happy and tired so we are slowly driving back to Hvar while sunset  is starting to make beautiful ending to the day.

  • Small children up to 6 years old are free of charge
  • Children from 6 -12 years have 50% discount on entrance tickets.

Special groups

  • Pregnancy - depending on the pregnancy stage and weather conditions we will advise should you go or not, but generally better not to go. If you are pregnant please notice us.
  • Back surgery or back pain It is wise not to go on the tour. If the weather conditions are really good (flat sea) then it is OK to go but please inform us.

Important notice

Tour is a subject to a weather conditions. In case of bad weather conditions and closed Blue Cave we keep the right to cancel the tour or to change the route. Our guests will be given the option of an alternative date (depending on availability) or full refund. If  Blue Cave is closed and weather conditions are good we will perform the tour as usual including one more of the optional places to compensate Blue cave. In case that Blue cave is closed you will be noticed before the tour starts and able to decide whether to go on the tour or to get full refund.
